Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissue, reaching down and stimulating the flow of chi through the energy conduits of the body. In this practice you will come to the appropriate depth of the pose, find stillness in your body, and hold each pose for a long period of time. This is a perfect complement to more active yang forms of exercise such as Ashtanga yoga, power yoga, running, swimming, or a high-paced stressful lifestyle.
