Over 80% of adults suffer from low back pain at some point in their lives. Fortunately, the yoga practice offers a number of helpful postures and tools to strength and support the low back, helping to relieve low back pain and prevent long-term damage.
The following 20-minute Gentle Yoga Flow is specifically designed to strengthen and support your low back, while also ensuring that your body stays in proper alignment. In this practice, Dianne will guide you through a grounding opening meditation, inviting you to relax your mind and connect with your body. Then, you’ll move through a flowing sequence of seated and kneeling postures, as well as working from your back and belly, as you relax and strengthen the muscles in the low and mid-back region. You’ll also enjoy gentle stretches that relieve sciatica pain, mid-back stiffness, tight hamstrings, and tight hips – all common pain points for those suffering from an achy low back!
Are you ready to finally relieve that low back pain? Let’s get started!
